  • Pick your home

    Start in Michigan, Coventry or Pune, each its own difficulty: a huge home market and cheap energy, a small market with dear energy but more dealers from day one, or low wages, low prices and buyers who want city cars and hatchbacks.

  • Run the line

    Press, body, paint, assembly and test. The line runs at the pace of its slowest station, so every upgrade moves the bottleneck somewhere new. Add shifts and the machines wear faster. Speed it up and defects climb too.

  • Keep it fed

    Sign suppliers for five part families and hold enough stock to keep building. Run out and the line stops dead. Fill the yard with unsold cars and it stops too.
