What you do in Bakery Director

Bake to the forecast
Every morning the kitchen shows what the customers will want. Bake too little and you sell out by lunch, too much and it goes stale. Run up to four ovens and hire a baker for each.
Serve the rush
Tap customers before their patience runs out. Some take away, some sit down and stay for coffee. Hire servers to work the queue, then a pastry chef, a greeter and a marketer.
Take cake orders
Birthdays, weddings and office parties order whole cakes days ahead. Accept the ones you can bake, deliver on time and earn a big payday.
Grow the shop
Four shop sizes up to twelve tables, four furniture tiers, a bigger display case and two coffee machines. Rent, wages and cleaning all come out of the till, so every upgrade has to earn its keep.
Win the Bake-Off
Every three days the city's best bakers face the judges. Pick your bake, nail three rounds of perfect timing and take home the prize money.
Build an empire
Move from a side street to the smartest address in town, borrow to grow, open branches that earn while you bake, and buy out the rival bakeries one by one.

About Bakery Director

You start with a kiosk in Camden, five recipes and £150 in the till. Everything else you bake your way to.

Bakery Director plays one day at a time. In the morning you bake to the forecast, at opening the customers pour in, and at close you count the till and choose where the profit goes. Sunny weekends, rainy days, school fairs and festivals all change what sells.

Twenty-three recipes, from croissants, baguettes and sourdough to macarons, éclairs and whole layer cakes. Level up to unlock new recipes, staff, ovens, shop sizes and better parts of town, with three goals at a time to aim for. Four lenders, from a friendly credit union to a loan shark at thirty per cent, will fund the next step.

London, which loves sponge cake, pies and scones, is free. New York, mad for cheesecake, bagels and donuts, and Paris, where croissants and macarons rule, are optional purchases, each with its own map, rivals, currency and Bake-Off. So is the Test Kitchen, where you rework any recipe with one of thirteen flavours and find out if you've made a flop or a hit.

No ads, no energy timers, no tracking. London is free, and every purchase is optional and one-time.

Yes. The game never needs the internet. Purchases go through Google Play or the App Store.

Does my bakery keep running when I close the app?

No. There is no idle or offline progress. The shop only runs while you are playing.

Which devices does it run on?

Bakery Director is on iPhone (iOS 26 or later) from the App Store, and on Android phones (Android 12 or later) from Google Play. Purchases belong to the store you buy them in, so they don't carry over between iPhone and Android.

Are the bakeries real?

No. London, New York and Paris and their districts are real places, but every bakery, rival and customer in the game is invented.

What data does the game collect?

None. Bakery Director has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your saves stay on your phone, with up to three bakeries at a time. The privacy policy has the details.
